BRAVO to SUPERCOMM 2009 for International Visitors' Assistance

I traveled 22 weeks of the year 2008 visiting with friends, partners, clients, and potentials all three at conferences around the globe. For me, that was easy because I have always been a USA citizen.

But... many of the brightest entrepreneurial minds are not in the USA. They are citizens of other countries, and it is our loss in the United States to not have opportunity to share, teach and learn from them right here in conferences on our soil.

SUPERCOMM has a complete page dedicated to helping those international businesses and individuals to more easily participate at http://www.supercomm2009.com/international_visitors.html.

The one thing I question is why only focus on Spanish, Japanese, French, and German? Even so, the page is very helpful to anyone in any country to get involved and participate in SUPERCOMM 2009 in June at the McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill! Don't forget to add yourself to the Facebook event networking area at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=29468433583.

SmartBooth™ Tool with NXTcomm08, very effective

Bdmetrics provided the SmartBooth™ in the myNXTcomm portals very effectively. I finally got the chance to view the statistics and to make further contacts with current clients and customers as well as those showing potential interest. It's been madly busy with friends in need and business of DIDX and Supertec.

These companies used the SmartBooth™ tool like I did. I like it. NXTcomm08's goal was to increase the number of quality leads that NXTcomm08 yields and help turn those leads into sales. (The other thing I liked about NXTcomm08 is that they stayed in touch with us DIDXchange as their media sponsor beginning one year before the June 2008 conference and are still in touch. They treat their sponsors whether media or other with respect and appreciation. Another conference that does a great job at this is ITEXPO.)

Click on the Performance Statistics and see:
1. Number of targeted attendees my company reached through SmartBooth: 1,865

2. Number of attendees who included my company on their Event Plans through SmartBooth: 1,592

3. Number of attendees that viewed my company's products and services online through SmartBooth: 1,401

We're flattered, but even more important are excited about collaborating with partipants of NXTcomm08 in together moving our and their businesses forward to ... in the end... make more global end-users happier than ever!

FierceVoIP's NXTcomm08 Party: Salsa Lessons!

...

FierceVoIP hosted the Martinis by Moonlight at the Moon at the Palms, an exclusive penthouse nightclub during NXTCOMM08. Lisa-anne Routley of DIDX takes salsa lessons from Max Glucksmann, DIDX member and integrator. FierceVoIP is a great source of insider information and updated news on IP Communications. Another awesome site for IP Communications and everything related to it is TMCNET.com.

Check out my new blog there, and contact me with new news, interview ideas and more. Let me show the world the nextgen, lucrative, user-friendly, and cutting edge services, products, ideas and events that they will go WOW about.

That's a peek at James Swinger, a telecommunications consultant and friend at the end of the video.

So, You're a Women and Want a voIP Career?

VoIP Supply's Nicole Schuman is running a series of Women in voIP blog posts, and I can't wait to read about all of them. She started off with me and if she just knew how controversial our company has been since 1999 in the telecommunications worldwide, she might have started with someone else. Just search DIDX on the Asterisk-Biz forum.

I spent a lot of time with ladies in the voIP industry this past week during International Telecoms Week and Global Telecommunications Management conferences in Washington DC: Dunia Campos of DIDX in Ecuador; Jessica Ruiz of DIDX in Mexico City; Noreen Schneider of San Diego; Ruth Li of XO Communications; Debbie Grasso of Paetec, Brooke Afick of Bezeq International via phone... yikes we never connected, next time, and many more.

There is a growing trend of women in voIP, in the technical, management, and entrepreneurial positions. I remember the first IP-related shows I attended were Spring Internet World and ITExpo 2000 and 2001. I don't remember any women at any of them except those who were accompanying their husbands who work in the telecom industry or the hostesses and models at booths.

Want to learn about voIP, get certification and more. Try some of the following:
1. The National Association of Communication Systems Engineers (NACSE) is a non-profit, vendor neutral, credential neutral professional organization for IT experts in the world. NACSE is an industry leader in providing a clear and unbiased standard of measurement of the skills of its certified members. They do offer Certified voIP Training. See http://www.nacse.com/.

2. voIP-Info, voIP WIKI, reference guide to all things voIP at http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/

3. Asterisk-Biz list at http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-biz, but lurk for at least a month before you start posting to attempt to understand the accepted protocol.

4. Digium Asterisk Training and Bootcamps at http://www.digium.com/en/training/

5. Webinairs of Fonality, FierceVoIP, and TMCnet...

I'll add more sources to this list as there is time. It's 7:54 AM on June 11, 2008 and I must start working. See y'all at NXTcomm08 next week in Las Vegas, NV June 16 - 20. Sign up at http://www.nxtcommshow.com with the code DIVS. I'm not sure when the last day is that you can use that code to get free Expo Plus passes or discount on full conference passes. Contact me about the DIDX Dinner Party during NXTcomm08 at care @ didx.net.

Before you leave, take a look at the first blog on women in voIP at http://blog.voipsupply.com/voip-commentary/women-in-voip-continuesdidx-mastermind-suzanne-bowen and get ready for more from Nicole and VoIP Supply and more to come.

NXTcomm... don't just survive, THRIVE!

NXTcomm is one event I attended last year 2007. It was in beautiful Chicago, and when I left for home, I brought back around 800+ business cards, over 300 new signups on www.didx.net by global telcos to sell and buy direct inward dialing, and made some of the best business friendships imaginable.

NXTcomm08 is just a couple weeks away. You can sign up here. Enter the DIVS code to get a great discount on the full conference or free Exhibits Plus Pass, and it's in LAS VEGAS!

All those world-famous, innovative members, suppliers, and partners of www.didx.net, please contact me on email to make sure you RSVP the DIDX Dinner Party scheduled for the Wednesday during the week of June 16 - 20.

Everyone is welcome to get with me for your video interview about your services and products and why you choose NXTcomm08, and remember, it's all about you and your renewed successes in voice, wireless, video, social networking, security, peering, and everything in between business! But RSVP now for your video interview.

(Super Technologies, Inc. and DIDX, a media sponsor and exhibitor at NXTcomm08 booth SU7202... add yourself to the networking group/event for NXTcomm08 at this Facebook URL.)
