From VBlick to Fring...
Hey,
I watched your video Suzanne where you called your friend in Israel using skype and he answered the call using fring via his skype account.
How was he able to link his skype account with fring? What did he do in the skype settings that allowed this?
I have fring on my HTC EVO, it's linked to my skype address book, but when someone attempts to call my skype account from theirs, it's not picked up by fring, just by skype.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I live in MD and i'm trying to get video calls going with my family back home in GA.
Thanks!
Vic
... Vic, I hope my friends at fring will reply to you. Thanks for browsing my videos on Youtube!

NI Shares the Love from DIDX Team for its Wholesale Telephony Member Community
Nauman is one of the coolest, smartest, most customer-loved member on our DIDX team. I like the way he shares great deals on DID phone numbers for wholesale buyers in this video.
Did anyone see him take the lead on our company's rendition of "All We Need is Love?"

Fedex Live CS Chat with Angel, Print and Share Screen
I like it. I tried it. Fast resolution of the problem was the result of ability to share screen. Accountability is the result of my ability to print the chat, but I didn't. Angel did a great job.... browse some of our team's other blogs at http://blogs.didx.net and http://blog.tmcnet.com/monetizing-ip-communications/. Years of Dell Purchases by Super Technologies May End
Our company is a frequent buyer of Dell products. You'll find netbooks, XPSs, Inspirons, Vostros, and more all over our global offices. We've probably spent around $50,000 at least in the past ten years with Dell. Very disappointed today when I gave one of mine to my colleague who works mostly in Karachi and Dubai. I followed the correct protocol to transfer ownership to my colleague.
Dell replied the following, while we know that XPS can be serviced in Pakistan, so I think we will not purchase from Dell again in the future:
"Dear Valued Customer,
Good day to you.
With regret, this is to inform you that your request to transfer your
Dell system bearing service tag: (number deleted to protect the writer) to Pakistan was unsuccessful as
Pakistan does not support XPS 1530 models.
However, should you be traveling back to US or nearby countries such as
Hong Kong, Malaysia or Singapore and need any technical assistance,
please do not hesitate to call Dell Technical support in the respective
countries.

PortaOne's 24/7 NOC Answer for DIDX Client
This is a thank you note to PortaOne from me and our DIDX team. Recently the 24/7 NOC at PortaOne came to the rescue for a client of ours. They are a little different from others in the industry in that they allow their clients to make any modifications in their code for your own use. (Just can't sell it, obviously.) After successfully completing the project for the client, a nice surprise was the interop compatibility that resulted. Portaone will soon post this in their documentation pages.
Listen to an interview between me Suzanne Bowen of DIDX and Roman Khalenkov of PortaOne at DIDX, PortaOne Record a Podcast to Discuss the Unique Advantages of PortaSwitch: Source Code, 24/7 Technical Support and Maintenance.
We will both be at ITEXPO West Sept 1-3, 2009, with PortaOne at booth 427 and DIDX at booth 125. ITEXPO West in Los Angeles looks like one of the best IP communications meetups. We must see you there, too!

Tunnel-vision Customer Service and Sales
I laugh so much when I watch some of these FoneJacker movies, but the thing this showcases so well is how each of us in just about any company any where in the world can get in a rut. We think there is only one way to do business, and our way is the right way. We try to sell our product and services and do not listen to the customer. We develop business as if we have no audience who might want to interact, like we are really just developing business with ourselves.
Criticism is hard to take, but it can turn us around into a new and better direction. I receive questions about the way our company does business, where we're all from (Mexico, Pakistan, UAE, and the DEEP SOUTH), the way our ESOL employees write and speak English*, and how our services work, and I'm glad I do.
* I have never received criticism as to how I speak and write Urdu/Hindi.
